How ADHD Impacts Mothers

Are you a mother who feels you may have ADHD symptoms but have no idea where to start? ADHD is not a disorder of knowing what to do. It’s a disorder of doing what you know… Meaning I know all the things I should be doing, but there are so many barriers to getting it done. So I always feel like I’m behind or letting people down. ADHD never ends, it shows up every day and in every area of our lives. If ADHD is getting in the way of your happiness, then we need some resolve.

As the Brisbane Mothers Mental Health Network Coordinator, this was a Webinar that I presented to other professionals. Teaching and sharing information, we are able to understand what is ADHD and how to support their clients who are mothers.

This is a wonderful guide into understanding;

  • Criteria for diagnosis
  • Gender differences
  • Later diagnosis in women
  • How it impacts romantic relationships
  • How it impacts your ability to parent the way you want to
  • Strategies for improved functioning
